How many participants can I expect on a tour?

Typically, our tours host between 8 to 10 participants. For precise numbers, please refer to the detailed itinerary available for each tour.

What's included in the cost?

The description page of each tour details the cost, highlighting included and additional expenses such as alcoholic drinks and airfare.

What do I do about flight arrangements?

For our international trips that include transfers, we manage your travel logistics. Once a trip is confirmed, we'll recommend flight options and our tour leaders will be on the same flight to welcome you upon arrival. If you're flying from a different airport, ensure your flight arrives concurrently or earlier to join the group transfer smoothly. On the tour's conclusion, we'll coordinate your airport transfer for your return flight, aiming to make your journey seamless and enjoyable.

Do you cater for single occupancy, and are partners welcome?

Tog Pro Holidays prioritises comfort and privacy, offering single-occupancy accommodations as standard, ensuring solo travellers have their own space. Partners are also welcome on all tours, offering flexibility for those travelling together. Additionally, we provide options to share accommodations on select tours for those who prefer it, catering to different preferences and making our tours inclusive and adaptable to our guests' needs.

What camera equipment do I need?

We advise you on the camera equipment for each tour's full itinerary. While we recommend a DSLR or mirrorless camera with a range of lenses, you're welcome to use whatever camera you have, including smartphones. Equipment rental is available for an additional charge. Bringing a laptop is advisable for photo downloading and editing sessions, including Lightroom tutorials to refine your skills.

Are all tours guaranteed to run?

A tour's viability is confirmed once it meets the minimum participant threshold. We'll inform you promptly to proceed with travel plans. In the event of a cancellation by us, you'll have the option for a full refund or to rebook on another holiday, ensuring your peace of mind.

Are our holidays suitable for all experience levels?

Our holidays cater to photographers of all skill levels. To ensure everyone is well-prepared and confident, we offer a complimentary online course tailored to beginners before the holiday begins. For those at intermediate or advanced levels, we also provide specific online courses that match the complexity and requirements of the tour and the individual's experience. This approach ensures that every participant can fully engage with and benefit from our unique photographic experiences regardless of proficiency.

Do I need Travel Insurance?

All participants must have comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and property loss, including photography equipment.

Is it physically challenging?

Some workshops may be physically demanding. Check each workshop's specific 'physical activity' level to assess suitability. Pre-trip fitness preparation is encouraged.

When is the final balance due?

The balance for your holiday is due 12 weeks before its commencement, with specific amounts detailed in each itinerary. For more information, please refer to our terms and conditions page.

What can I expect to learn?

At Tog Pro Holidays, participants will embark on a learning journey to master a diverse range of photography genres, including wildlife, capturing breathtaking landscapes, understanding the nuances of light and composition, and delving into the use of Lightroom and Photoshop to bring out the best in their images. Our tours are designed to refine your skills across different subjects, from the intricacies of animal behaviour in the wild to the delicate balance of urban and architectural photography, ensuring a well-rounded photographic education. Our hands-on guidance ensures you capture the beauty of your surroundings and elevate your post-processing skills to transform your photographs into masterpieces.

What about communications before and during the tour?

Sixty days before the tour, we initiate preparations by contacting you and utilising WhatsApp for timely updates and seamless communication throughout the tour. Additionally, we organise a Zoom meeting before the tour commences. This virtual gathering is an excellent opportunity to meet fellow participants, address any inquiries, and gain deeper insights into the trip's details. This approach ensures you're well-informed and ready for the adventure ahead.

What if the weather is bad?

Our tours are designed to welcome all weather conditions as unique opportunities for photography, offering enriching experiences, whether rain or shine. We acknowledge the unpredictability of the weather, yet we remain proactive in monitoring forecasts to stay ahead. Regardless of the conditions, we are committed to finding alternative photographic opportunities, ensuring that every moment of your journey with us is memorable and rewarding.

Can I arrive before the tour starts?

Yes, we can arrange hotel accommodations for participants arriving early at the same hotel as the tour.

What if I can’t make it? What’s your refund policy?

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, so we strongly advocate securing trip cancellation & travel insurance following your trip booking. This ensures that you're safeguarded financially if you cannot attend. If your absence leads to your spot being filled by another participant, rest assured we will reimburse you the total amount you paid.

If your spot remains unfilled, our refund policy is structured as follows: It is calculated against the workshop's total fee. This tiered refund approach offers a fair and transparent resolution, accommodating the varying degrees of notice given before the workshop start date.

• 90 days or more: Full refund
• 60 - 89 days: 50% refund
• Less than 60 days: No refund

Refunds will be paid using the same method used for the original payment. Please review our full terms and conditions page here.

I don't live in the UK, so how can I pay for a tour?

Non-UK residents should contact us to arrange the most convenient payment method.

Do you offer a referral program?
